DCC Copper Wire stands for Double Cotton Covered Copper Wire. It is a type of copper wire that has a double layer of cotton insulation applied to it. The cotton insulation provides excellent electrical insulation, as well as mechanical protection to the copper wire.The cotton insulation is applied in two layers, with the first layer being applied in one direction and the second layer being applied in the opposite direction.
